Temporary home for pet?

I am moving in less than two weeks. Due to unexpected circumstances we had to find a new place to live last minute. Because of this we will not have a place to stay for 4-10 days. My boyfriend and I are going to be crashing at my moms house but unfortunately my brother is highly allergic to cats and I have two. Since they can not stay at the house I have no where for them to go for that time. I haven't found anyone yet who can take them in. I looked into boarding them but since I just started a new job after being unemployed for a couple of months the prices are higher than I can responsibly spend. Does anyone know of any less expensive options to provide them with somewhere safe for such a short period of time. I can provide everything they need, food, litter, etc. They are litter trained and never had any accidents. It would break my heart to have to give them up all because I couldn't give them a home for less than two weeks.
